Paul has been on air in the Twin Cities for almost 27 years. He was host and producer of the popular Saturday Night Cruise Oldies Show that ran on WLTE Radio for over 13 years. Born and raised right here in Minnesota, Paul started his broadcast career in Montana, then on to Wisconsin, before moving home to Minnesota. Affectionately referred to as “the Big Kahuna” by his Saturday Night Cruise fans, Paul’s favorite tunes are from the ‘60s and ‘70s. Those are also the songs of choice for the rock and roll cover band that Paul plays in. Paul and his family love living in the St. Croix River Valley

WDGY 740 AM ADDS RADIO PERSONALITY
Radio Veteran Plays 60s, 70s Oldies Weekday Mornings

WDGY 740 AM, which has broadcasted under a True Oldies format since 2005, is pleased to announce the addition of a new staff member and on-air personality.

While playing the songs from the 1960’s and 1970’s that he grew up with, he also has the chance to interact with local listeners. Geiger takes requests, shares stories of local interest, and brings a personal touch to a station that, before his addition to the staff, had no local deejays on weekdays.

Geiger has extensive experience in the radio business. Prior to working with WDGY, he produced and hosted the well-received Saturday Night Cruise Oldies Show on WLTE Radio for thirteen years. He worked for WLTE for 27 years, and prior to that worked in broadcasting in Montana and Wisconsin. He was born and raised in Richfield, and now makes his home in the St. Croix Valley.
WDGY is pleased to include Paul Geiger in their staff, and expects his daily morning show to garner a positive response from listeners in the Twin Cities. The station believes that Geiger’s warm personality, extensive music knowledge, and impressive resume of radio experience make him a perfect choice for the job. The station, along with Paul Geiger, is excited to bring back the personal, interactive style that befits oldies radio.
