Chris was raised in Stillwater (yes, he's a proud Stillwater Pony), and he spends much of his free time in the St. Croix Valley.  He's been the Chief Meteorologist at WCCO TV since 2006, and weather remains one of his top two passions.  The other?  Music!  Before appearing on your TV, Chris had a long and fun career on your radio.  Perhaps you heard him on KOOL 108, BOB 100, 104.1 The Point, K102 or Cities 97.  Chris is excited to rock the mic with all the hits of the '60s and '70s on WDGY.

You may see him and his wife cruisin' the streets in their Greased Lightnin' car on warm summer days or catch him solo on one of his motorcycles.  Want to talk weather or rock n roll music?  So does Chris.  He also likes to talk about his three daughters, his family in the area and why the Minnesota Vikings are going to win the Super Bowl this year (he will be right someday).
